Reabrook wins top prize Business of the Year 2010
Reabrook Ltd won the ultimate award from the Burton Mail Business Awards 2010. The winner was selected by the judges from the nominees of the other award categories. It celebrates the business that not only excelled in their category, but also showed commitment and performance within the other category criteria too.
This was described as the ‘hardest decision of the night’ by category sponsor Dains. Richard McNeilly, who presented the award, said: “All three candidates excelled in nearly all the criteria. All three showcased a fantastic energy, enthusiasm and passion for business. But the winner was one that showed a fantastic financial performance – despite being in the middle of a recession. It has become more profitable and increased turnover and this was a reason why we decided to name Reabrook Ltd Business of the Year.”
Joint managing director Tony Brealey said: “It has to be said that we are over the moon with this award. We were one of the lucky ones and during the recession our business actually increased rather than decreased. But we must offer a massive thank you to all of our staff for the tremendous work that they do day in and day out. I know it’s a cliche but without them we really wouldn’t have won this award. So I and my joint managing director Malcolm Watkins dedicate this to them and all of the work that they do. Reabrook Ltd is the company it is because of the people we employ.”
Host Dave Bryon reflected that everyone will have a product manufactured by Reabrook Ltd in their bathroom.
Reabrook Ltd, which include the brands ARROW, NIELSEN, ENVIROCLEAN and Reabrook Private Label, formulates and sells a wide range of personal care, industrial cleaning and industrial consumables filled into aerosols and other packs such as trigger and pump sprays and volume containers. It sells branded and private label products through distributors and to end users in more than 40 countries.
